🌍 Personal style is a language (and I can help you to be fluent)

I always try to make it clear that personal style has no name. Personal style is a language and to master it you have to study the way you study foreign languages. In this text I will break one of the most common stereotypes and help you understand the personal image as a language and a powerful non verbal communication tool. Many people, men and women, have tons of clothes in neutral colours and simple tailored cuts and call it the classic style. Style professionals who do not understand personal image as a non-verbal communication tool also tend to reinforce this belief. And it's a myth. Stereotyping is useful for journalists, but not for experienced style professionals. Classic tailoring designs with lots of straight lines reflect a conservative behaviour, which is enhanced by neutral colours. As the image is a non-verbal communication tool, I ask: are you an extremely conservative person? Do you believe in things like marrying a virgin and don't use innovative products (inc...

🌍 5 reasons for you NOT to have plastic surgeries and aesthetic procedures without first seeking a styling consultation with me

5 reasons for you NOT to have plastic surgeries and aesthetic procedures without first seeking a styling consultation with me: Each of your physical characteristics is related to a characteristic of your personality. Most doctors and healthcare professionals don't understand about this and just look at the aesthetic side. My work includes showing you the personality characteristics related to the physical characteristics that bother you and presenting you with options on how to deal with them, which may or may not include the suggestion of having an aesthetic procedure or plastic surgery. It is common for those who seek these resources (plastic surgery and aesthetic procedures) not to value their own appearance, having self-esteem problems that surgery will not solve and may even worsen. By learning about the relationships between your appearance and your personality, you also learn to deal with your appearance in a different way and accept your own beauty. Accepting your own ...

🌍 Elie Saab Fall/Winter 23/24 Reviewed

In this text, I'm going to talk a little about the autumn/winter 23/24 collection by Elie Saab. The brand used shades of black, white, a greenish tone of yellow (or a yellowish tone of green), green, red and a bluish tone of lilac (or a purplish tone of blue) as a base. I already said that I don't stick to colour names. I prefer to study their impact on the client's non-verbal communication. Although the collection has many black pieces, like all the others, the brand brought many black pieces with colourful embroidery and spring air. With the exception of the black/white and red tones, the other base tones also brought interesting options to the collection. Embroideries and textures also enrich it. All body shapes have at least two pieces in the collection that they can wear. Some sleeves are at that length that should be longer or shorter, but it's not the right length on the model. There were few, but I noticed that.  And whoever took care of the styling missed a...

🌍 Types of fashion and style consumers

Regarding the consumption of fashion and style, there are some categories of consumers.  Simply put, I can say that there are three categories. One category is people who invest in style, who don't seek external validation, but rather show, through their style, who they are and attract people who appreciate them as they are. It is usually made up of innovators, who like to value their individuality and can use fashion as a tool to communicate their personal development. They know that personal image is a non-verbal communication tool and seek my expert guidance, as the world's leading expert on the subject, to achieve the goals they desire. The second category, and the one with the most subdivisions, is that of people who seek to be in fashion, who want to follow fashion in order to be accepted by a group. All subdivisions of this category include varied ways of using fashion and trends to seek external validation. One of the subdivisions of this group includes people wanting...

🌍 What are the advantages of my continuous styling advice over quick consulting?

What are the advantages of my continuous styling advice over quick consulting? I've worked with the quick style consultancy, which usually required two to three weeks of work. For the client, this could take three or four months depending on how my schedule was. With experience, I realised that the result is superficial and does not prepare the client to understand his own style. It is not enough to continue buying from the same brands. Of course, quick consultancy can satisfy the client who has never done a consultancy in his life and thinks it works like on those TV shows. But it is not the best possible result. I seek excellence. The main point where continuous consulting is most advantageous is consistency. Most people don't know themselves well and don't have the information I do to develop a style consistent with their personality, their goals, etc. Continuous consultancy allows me to better understand the customer and be present in the seasonal updates of their war...

🌍 Dolce & Gabbana fall/winter 23/24 reviewed (women)

Dolce & Gabbana's women's autumn/winter collection brought clothes in shades of black (lots of black!), white, red and gold to the catwalk. There are some flaws in cutting and pattern making. Although the collection privileges some body types, it has options for all body shapes. Like the men's collection (see previous text), this one has clothes with very conventional cuts. Just like the men's collection, this one shows different women. There is a woman with a very traditional and conservative profile, who seeks femininity without exposing her body, betting on long coats and feminine tailoring (trousers are not part of her universe); another one that is also very conventional looking for the stereotype of femininity and sensuality, and is divided between wearing clothes that look like underwear and tight dresses; and one that doesn't cling to stereotypes and embraces a more androgynous look. Unlike the men's collection, these 3 women, although different, ar...
