And the properties to buy, where to look?  I suggest the Oikotie app. It's in Finnish, but nothing a translator won't help. It is worth remembering that since the beginning of 2020, citizens of countries that are not part of the European Union and the European Economic Area need the authorisation of the Ministry of Defence to buy a house in the country. For apartments this authorisation is not required. The process of obtaining the authorisation takes about 3 weeks, according to information I have obtained from the Ministry of Defence itself.

To get an idea of the cost of living, the numbeo.com site is a good reference, but I also recommend keeping track of the rental or purchase prices of the properties on the sites mentioned above, to get an idea of the housing costs within the  standard you expect.

This blog encourages people to migrate to different countries or cities for cultural enrichment and encourages this change legally and with the aim of contributing to the economic growth of their destination, as well as improving their quality of life. Knowing the culture of your destination and respecting it is an important step in the adaptation process.

Vale lembrar que desde o início de 2020 cidadãos de países que não façam parte da União Europeia e do Espaço Econômico Europeu precisam de autorização do ministério da defesa para comprar casa no país. Para apartamentos essa autorização não é necessária. O processo de obtenção da autorização leva em torno de 3 semanas, conforme informação que obtive do próprio ministério da defesa. 

Para ter uma noção de custo de vida, o site numbeo.com é uma boa referência, mas recomendo também acompanhar os preços de aluguel ou compra de imóveis nos sites mencionados acima, para ter uma noção dos custos de moradia dentro dos padrões que você espera.
