According to the dictionary, vulgar is something lacking in cultivation, perception, or taste, something ordinary.

As I have said several times in other texts and also on social networks, personal style is personal, it has no labels, it does not fit stereotypes. Most style consultants work based on stereotypes and categories they call styles. I have already explained in other texts the flaws of this methodology. Here I will reinforce the reminder: by believing that styles fit stereotypes, you are investing in making your style vulgar and devoid of the ability to be used to your advantage as a non-verbal communication tool. You are signalling to the world that you fit stereotypes and that means you don't have enough self-awareness to develop a unique, strong and elegant style. You prefer to seek acceptance from the masses, who believe in stereotypes, and this is a sign of emotional immaturity. If most wear navy blue suits with white or blue shirts, by wearing the same you show that you are just another one, who does not know how to use his appearance to demonstrate your best qualities. You are looking for external validation instead of learning how to demonstrate the best about who you really are. You choose to be a commodity.
