🌍 Schiaparelli Fall/Winter 2023 (prêt-à-porter)

Today is the day to talk about Schiaparelli's fall/winter 2023 prêt-à-porter collection show, presenting what I liked and didn't like about the collection. The brand chose to show only thin models, and has clothes for all body types. You may not be able to tell which pieces best suit your body type, but I see it even better in thin models than in plus size ones, because the clothes are in evidence. And that's the purpose of the models.

The colour palette for the show was shades of black, white, brown, gold and blue. They also had some red bags to break the chromatic monotony. I've talked several times here on the blog about neutral colours. Research or hire a consultancy.

The worst mistake I saw was the pants in a length between the knee and the ankle. This length does no one any favours. It is tolerable on tall, skinny women, and no one else. Luckily the collection has long pants, very well cut.

Some jacket sleeves were a little too short, even on the models. A length that, in everyday life, if you bend your elbow, your arm appears. I think it's more elegant for jackets that the sleeve doesn't go beyond the wrist bone when bending the elbow. But the show also featured many options with sleeves in lengths that please me.

The clothes almost all have a simple design, keeping a touch of personality to the prints and the use of gold in accessories, embroidery and buttons, which is a striking feature of the brand.

The collection has many options to choose your basic clothing that aren’t too simple. The cut values ​​the woman's body if the person knows how to choose which pieces to buy.
