🇬🇧 Style myths - the colour black

Let's talk about two image and style myths related to the colour black that are widely propagated by those who have never studied colour.

Myth 1: Black goes with everything.

Truth 1: Yes, black goes with everything. Everything is about things, not people. The problem arises when people distort information and think it suits EVERYONE. And that's where the error comes in. Black is not a colour that looks good on everyone. There is no one shade of clothing and accessories that looks good on everyone.

Myth 2: Black makes you thin.

Truth 2: Wearing black from head to toe will NOT make you look thinner, whether in photographs or in person. There are suitable ways to use black to achieve the visual effect of decreasing body volume in specific regions (decreasing belly, hips, etc) and none of them are in monochromatic looks.
