🇬🇧 Is it important to study?
Some gurus nowadays say it’s not important to study, to go to the university, etc. I wonder what kind of students they were. And although I know it’s possible to learn many things alone, I also know that there’s value in having masters to guide us. Most parents are not able to guide their children this way. Some can even manipulate their children. It’s important to have other masters to avoid that undesirable effect we see in most familiar businesses: they don’t expand. They keep being small because the familiar mindset is limited.
Those who go to school are much inferior in a relative sense compared to those committed to learn, as I am. But those committed to learn valuing good masters the right way are better than the ones saying it’s not important to study and promising miracles in little time. University helps us to develop our mindset. It’s like a gym for the mind. Quick courses or any other thing are helpful for short term, but don’t prepare people to embrace the changes the market will deliver. Ah... those students who were only going to school missed this part of the classes.
Since I was young my grades were excellent in most themes and I went to school to learn. I used to take notes on everything interesting the teachers told us. And even nowadays my mindset with studies is to learn, to imagine questions, to discover various possibilities, and much more. I see myself often observing things in a level much deeper than any other person. And there are lots of advantages in doing things this way. Advantages only those with this habit and the ones that already experienced to count on my services can understand. It wasn’t by chance I was pioneer launching some services. And I continue innovating and updating my abilities.
What kind of professional do you trust to help your business to prosper? The best students or the lazy ones?
