Have you ever thought about having a company in the UK? For serious entrepreneurs, having a business abroad has many advantages.
There are a few options for living in the UK as an entrepreneur. Today I will talk about the options for those who want to start an innovative business. If you don't have a particularly innovative business idea, through my consulting service I can help you improve it to acquire this profile or develop an innovative idea based on your experiences and skills.
I find the topic of entrepreneurship abroad fascinating and I really like working with this profile of entrepreneur, who seeks to have his company where it has more benefits for him. And these benefits can be interest in the local culture or language, lower taxes, more security, closer proximity to your target audience or important suppliers, ease of logistics, greater incentive to innovate, cheaper real estate, lower cost of living, a good public health system, and various other factors that impact your personal life, your business, or both.
The options that Brazil, Sweden, Italy and Finland currently have in relation to a visa to undertake in the UK are the same, so I will use these options as a basis, and in the English text, as it is the language to speak to the whole world, I will evaluate the same options, which are valid for many other countries.
Anyone who has an innovative business idea can consider the start-up visa and the innovator visa as options.
The disadvantages of the startup visa are that it cannot be renewed and is only valid for two years. Therefore, the innovative visa is more attractive for those who plan to stay in the country. To start a new business on an innovator visa you must have at least £50,000 in investment funds. You will need to prove where you got your funding from. Knowledge of English is also a criterion, as is being over 18 years of age and proving that you have sufficient resources to stay in the UK for the duration of your visa (this amount is separate from the £50,000 earmarked for investing in the business).
Proving the viability of the business through a consistent business plan (which you can count on my guidance to develop) is also important for obtaining the letter of endorsement from the endorsing body.
