🇬🇧 The style of people in their 20’s

What should a person in their 20s wear? What style should (s)he adopt?

I'm Nycka, a stylist with decades of experience in the fashion industry and I work with personal image as a non-verbal communication tool. In this text I will talk about the style of people in their 20s.

There are many types of parents, and the ways in which they raise their children vary enormously. This can have an impact on how each individual dresses and how each develops (or does not) their personal style. Some parents encourage their children to choose what they want to wear since childhood, others are strict and criticise their children's choices even when these “children” are adults and independent. Regardless of what kind of parents a young man or woman in his/her 20s had, at that age one usually works and can afford to buy ones own clothes. Adolescence, the phase in which people tend to seek approval from friends and colleagues, is over and it is time to make choices based on one's own personality, chosen career, body type, etc.

It is common to see men and women maintaining a teenage image, a wardrobe poor of options that signal a personal style. An understandable error if the person does not have an income that allows them to pay for a good stylist who understands personal image as a non-verbal communication tool, but unforgivable in young entrepreneurs, musicians, professional athletes, influencers and other professionals who have the resources to hire a stylist and develop their style the smart way.

Just as there are different types of parents, each person is different, and having style is about valuing what makes you unique and knowing how to use your appearance as a non-verbal communication tool. In your 20s it's time to start investing in your personal style the smart way. This will certainly contribute to your success in your career, in your social and romantic relationships, and for clarity in your communication. To take advantage of these benefits, make an appointment with me following the instructions on the “Services available” page.
