🇬🇧 Tips for those with thin legs

Today there are tips for those who have thin legs, regardless of gender. There are tips to disguise and show your legs without shame. These are dressing tips, but they help build your style.

Try:

  1. Long skirts and looser pants. They are the most obvious ways to hide thin legs.
  2. The less volume you use on the top (blouse), the less thin your legs will look. More than a tip this is a rule on how to value your body, regardless of what your body type is. It goes as much for those who want to disguise thin legs as for those who want to show them off.
  3. Plain tights in a bold colour (such as red, pink or emerald green) in a darker neutral colour look and tight fittings can also create an illusion of volume, but you need to have personality to deal with looks because it attracts attention.
  4. Light coloured tights (white, light blue, etc) in a dark coloured tights look also gives the effect of volume and may be slightly less flashy than the look above.
  5. In winter, wear knit leggings under your pants. In this case, tight pants will make your legs look a little thicker because you have the knitting to add volume. Prefer pants a size larger than your normal to close when wearing leggings underneath. I have knitted leggings that I made to wear like most people wear sweatpants, and they're way thicker than any tights. See my pictures of knitting I did on my Instagram to get a sense of what I'm suggesting.
  6. Pantyhose, leggings or tights with large prints. Look in the mirror wearing the garment and compare it to yourself wearing a similar dark coloured garment to see the difference.
  7. Lighter coloured pants than the top.
  8. Avoid wearing skirts or shorts that are too baggy (except for long skirts, obviously). The voluminous the skirt or shorts, the more your legs will look like kindlings. There are illustrative images on my Instagram, but you can check them out by trying on tighter shorts and loose ones at any clothing store (or at home, if you have both types of shorts or skirt).

Mirror at home everyone has. Common sense is often lacking. If you follow my work and follow my tips, you can develop common sense. And you can also develop a more positive view of yourself.
