I cut my hair with a machine in the winter, very short. Some people may think that this way I will feel colder. Some have asked me if I don't feel cold in my head when I go out in winter with such short hair. In fact I feel less cold.
As machine cut hair dry faster, I can wash my hair and leave the house half an hour later (I've never left the house with damp hair in temperatures below 5°C. If you've done this, tell me the result. I imagine in certain temperatures this is not comfortable). My hair doesn't like a blow dryer, so drying it faster is important. When using a hairdryer, my hair volume increases a lot. And since I already have a lot of hair, the volume is excessive, I don't like it.
If it's very cold I can wear a hooded coat, or a wool cap, beret, hat. Very short hair is also best for a scarf without having excess volume around the neck and back of the neck. Aesthetically the result is much better for any winter look.
I'm a fan of short hair in any season because they reveal the beauty of the face, earrings stand out in the look, and show confidence. In winter, practical reasons are added to aesthetic and communication reasons. I have more styling options with short hair than long hair. For someone new here, I live in a relatively cool city all year round. In winter it usually doesn't snow, but we have negative temperatures on some isolated nights. And, for reasons I don't know, real estate usually doesn't have the structure of real estate in equally cold regions like the United Kingdom, as I commented in the previous text (Cold or hot?).
