Last week was a bit complicated, so much so that I didn't post every day, so today's text of typical European dishes will be at the end of this week. Today I am publishing the text that would be published tomorrow by the column "Savouring the world", with a typical Italian dish.
The recipe could be a variation. If you were born in Italy and know a different recipe for gnocchi, share your recipe in the comments.
The recipe can be made with as many potatoes as you want. Let's go to it.
Directions:
- Clean, wash and cook some potatoes in salted water.
- Go through the potato masher and then measure how many spoons of potatoes you have.
- For every 10 tablespoons of squeezed potato, add 3 tablespoons of wheat flour, 1 tablespoon of butter, 3 whole eggs and 3 tablespoons of grated cheese.
- Mix well until the dough is blended.
- Sprinkle a marble table with grain, take pieces of dough and roll them to the thickness of a finger.
- Cut these rolls into small pieces.
- After cutting the gnocchi, cook them in salted water. When the pieces come to the surface they are cooked. Drain them with a slotted spoon and put them to dry in a colander or plane where they can dry well without accumulating water around them.
- Then arrange the gnocchi on a serving dish, sprinkle with grated cheese and cover with the sauce of your choice.
