Have you noticed that in recent years many women with full lips are avoiding red and dark coloured lipsticks? As much as the lips are covered in masks lately, it's worth thinking about them.
Two things I almost never use are nail polishes and lipsticks in subdued colours. Lipsticks I really don't like. Nail polishes from time to time I like to do French nails, although mine if I only apply a transparent base has practically the same effect.
But some time ago I read a mulatto writer commenting that she was always ashamed to wear red lipstick because it drew too much attention to her thick lips. And we see other celebrities like J.Lo and Kim Kardashian who also seem to avoid drawing attention to their mouths most of the time.
Have you been doing the same? How do you feel about your mouth? How do you feel about communicating with other people? What about your sexuality and sensuality? Or have you been using discreet lipsticks just to imitate celebrities who do the same without thinking about what it communicates?
Personal style is about thinking about what each choice conveys. And this thinking also applies to those with thinner lips. Lack of that thinking is synonymous with lack of style. Want to know more, hire me as your personal stylist.
