🇬🇧 Dog tax in Germany

Aside from the Netherlands, another country that has a dog tax is Germany.

As I did with the Netherlands, I will list below the state capitals of Germany, the largest city in each state when not the capital and the amount of taxes for one dog in them. In Germany you pay more if you have two or more dogs, if you have dogs that are considered dangerous and even if you are a breeder. Dangerous dogs pay much higher amounts.

In some situations it is possible to request a reduction or a tax exemption. Prices may vary in 2023.

The city and state names below are in German.
