What is stopping you from having your dream job? Have you kept your dreams in a painful place in your past and threw away the key? Did you have to work from an early age and you can never study what you want? Do you live in a place where there is no field to make your dream come true? Are you put off by friends and family?

And what does it have to do with enjoying the work you do?

I believe that all of us (except the lazy ones who don't want work) can do jobs we enjoy at any stage of our careers. Doing a job we enjoy is different from having a dream job, but it is an important step in the process of getting there. Taking an example of low-skilled jobs: between frying burgers in a diner or selling shoes, which do you prefer? Which one is more in line with the future you want? I don't expect or recommend that you spend your entire life frying burgers or selling shoes. And for starters there are other options too, but I've limited it to two for simplicity.

My work is geared towards personal and professional development. If you can't get any satisfaction from "entry" jobs in a particular industry, how do you plan to develop there? Perhaps it is a sign that you are on the wrong path, or you are creating exaggerated expectations, wanting your dream job right away, effortlessly, without building your own brand. This, in most cases, is an illusion. A footballer who is worth millions does not make millions from the day he starts playing. A musician is unlikely to go on a world tour without solid author work and a good image and career management. A seed does not bear fruit, it must be planted, cultivated, grow, blossom and only then bear fruit. Life doesn't change at the speed of a click, although many things can change in a single day.

It must also be said that no degree will guarantee you a job, but ignoring the importance of a degree for many careers is also an unwise choice.

Doing a job you enjoy means enjoying the learning that that job offers to get to where you want to be. It means taking responsibility as an adult and offering your best on the terms negotiated with your employer. For this, it is necessary to exercise self-knowledge.
