Today I’m going to share seven reasons to be a cultural nomad.
- It is an experience that greatly expands your view of the world, in a way that tourist travel cannot.
- When including a change of country, it is useful to speed up your process of learning a new language (see the text on reasons for being multilingual on this blog).
- It is an opportunity to deconstruct beliefs that are often limiting.
- For those who live in cities in the interior or with little cultural relevance, migrating to cities of intense cultural life brings you closer to realities you never imagined.
- Accessing culture through typical gastronomy gives you very different experiences from eating food from a certain place in a restaurant in another part of the world. Eating Italian food in Brazil is different from eating Italian food in Italy. And vice versa.
- A cultured person is a more interesting and more pleasant person to talk to than most people.
- A cultured person tends to be more creative, if he knows how to use culture and art as tools for the development of creativity.
