Let's talk about Gucci and its women's fall/winter 23/24 show. The brand used all the colours in the show, in at least one shade of each. When I speak of all colours I am referring to shades of yellow, red, orange, blue, green and purple and also black, white and achromatic and chromatic greys (browns).
The collection, in a way, is similar to me. Sometimes an androgynous look, suddenly an outrageously sexy woman, and at other times a bold weirdo. Nobody who has personality and self-knowledge is a character, a stereotype. Those who know themselves and live a continuous process of self-knowledge also experience wanting different images at different times. I love going out in bold designs most of the time, but for everyday activities like walking the dog or going to the grocery store, I wear anything comfortable, which could be just a maxi sweater and boots, and go, without thinking about makeup, accessories, etc. Those who have style don't embrace labels. They know what to wear to convey his personality in every situation and moment or have a talented and experienced style consultant as myself to help them.
If you've seen the previous posts about the fall/winter 23/24 shows, you'll notice that I've mentioned a few times about the length of long sleeves, which were sometimes too short. Gucci apparently got this pretty right with regard to models.
The collection has interesting clothes for almost every body shape, and the wrong choice can make you reinforce physical features that don't value you.
The more androgynous clothes seem to have a masculine cut, reminiscent of the boyfriend trend of a few years ago. The advantage of this is comfort. I've preferred men's cut trousers for over ten years.
A lot of more feminine clothes also have a lot of ordinary, simple cuts that are easy to make. And in at least one of them the brand was wrong. A jacket with buttons that are too tight on the body of a model with small breasts. It's possible to create this hollow effect on the front on purpose, but the fit is quite different.
The most daring part of the show features localised volumes and cutouts as its main features.
I would wear several of the pieces from the collection. In spite of many pieces that are too simple, of not having presented many daring things, for my style it is interesting. If you want to know which autumn/winter pieces from this or other brands enhance your style, or you want to learn how to dress with real style, use less neutral colours while still being elegant, etc., make an appointment with me following the instructions on the “Services available” page.
